Our Process

We Simplify the Process For You

Commitment and follow through, every step of the way

There are a lot of moving parts involved with solar projects. Choosing the right team will help to ensure a successful outcome.

Evaluation and Strategy

We understand the configurations available in today’s market including differences and trade-offs among various solutions. Our team will perform the due diligence necessary to gather data about site topography, property lines, wetland features, flood zones and local restrictions. We will also determine required electrical capacity, solar metrics, and load characteristics.

We will ask the right questions and determine the appropriate solutions, including:

  • What will soil testing tell us about your ground?
  • Do we need to overcome land constraints?
  • How will prevailing wind affect the installation?
  • How will shade affect the solar system’s performance?

Using an in-depth, consultative approach, we will explore your site with an open mind and apply solutions that take every important factor into account.

Financial Analysis

Our team works to develop a comprehensive, long-term plan that yields measurable payback over the lifespan of the system. We work with design engineers to develop a financial model that considers all utility rate programs and interconnection efficiency to achieve the highest returns possible.

System Component Procurement

We will specify components that are optimized to the site specific needs to ensure maximum performance of the solar system. We have cultivated professional relationships with multiple manufacturers of panels, inverters and mounting systems. Our extensive supply chain research, partner studies, and relationships with manufacturers, ensures that we choose the best products for the site.

Solar System Construction

SolarPMP’s certified and experienced project managers and field personnel will manage the solar system project from initial planning to final construction and permit to operate. Our teams, including certified journeymen, electrical trainees, apprentices, and construction crews, consist of solar industry veterans who will proactively integrate all facets of the final design seamlessly and without operational disruptions. Working with SolarPMP you will receive single provider support and coordination. We have the expertise to ensure that the system installation is completed on time and within budget.

Utility Integration Analysis

Successful projects are dependent on coordination and connection with the local utility. We understand the nuances of utility integration and how it affects the long-term operation and return on investment. We ensure maximum performance, a seamless interconnection process, and timely Permission to Operate (PTO).

Interconnection and Permission to Operate (PTO)

SolarPMP will coordinate all the interconnection process by efficiently navigating the guidelines, rules, and regulations established by the utility company. Our interconnection team will expedite the interconnection process and ensure seamless coordination with the electrical utility. We understand the dynamics of utility scale electric generating system and how the Point of the Interconnection (POI) will be integrated within the utility grid. We ensure that the interconnection process is coordinated with the utmost precision and in coordination with the local utility provider. Timely interconnection is critical to the overall success of a solar project. Once a Permission to Operate (PTO) is received, the solar system can begin producing clean energy.
